Intensive English Course
Intensive English Courses are a fast way for students to improve their English. Students study with an expert teacher 4 hours each day. Students practice speaking, listening, reading and writing. They also learn vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. There is a weekly progress test every Thursday, and a proficiency test every second month.
There are six levels of Intensive English courses

Can (possibly) read, write and speak a few words, or understand a few simple questions. |

Study Morning or Afternoon
You can study English in the morning or the afternoon. Each day there are two breaks: a short break and a long break. You will have two teachers everyday.

Friday Clubs
Fridays are different: you can choose to study English through the Friday Clubs. These clubs give you the opportunity to study and use your English in a fun and interesting way. There is a teacher in every Friday Club to provide learning activities, and to help run the club.

IELTS Preparation Courses
IELTS Preparation courses are for students looking to improve their scores in the IELTS tests. The IELTS test is used for admission purposes by Universities and the Department of Immigration. Nexus courses aim to improve the students abilities in test related areas and also teach test strategies and techniques. The course uses text books created specially for the course and every Friday students take practice exams.
Two IELTS Levels
There are two levels: IELTS 1 and IELTS 2. IELTS 1 is for intermediate students looking to gain a score of IELTS 5 or above. IELTS 2 is for advanced students looking to gain an IELTS score of 6 or higher.

Course Outcomes
IELTS course students will gain
- An understanding of the structure of the exam
- Strategies to do the exam: timing, organization, etc

- Development of speaking fluency and accuracy
Your Improvement
Trial interviews and exams will demonstrate if the students are ready to do the exam.
Real IELTS tests correlate highly with final practice tests (r=0.91). Average student improvement is 1 band score in 8 weeks.
