Student Services

Nexus Student Services can help students with many services including: student visas, accommodation & home-stays, airport pickups, insurance, travel arrangements and counselling.

Student Visas

Nexus can arrange Student Visas for all courses.

All courses meet Department of Immigration (DIMIA) guidelines and have CRICOS codes. Students seeking student visas need to study a minimum of three months and should discuss the matter with staff.

Students with working holiday visas are also welcome.

Jobs

Nexus has access to a fulltime job hunting service. A full time professional counselor will assist students to find jobs. Typical student jobs include: waiter/catering, barman, office assistant and cleaning. Students can legally work up to 20 hours a week. There are no guarantees of a job, but our success rates are very good. (Wages range from about A$10 to A$20 an hour).

Airport Pickup

Nexus can arrange airport pickups from the airport to your accommodation of the school. Pickups costs A$120. Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airport to Nexus for approximately A$30. Or take a train for about A$10.
