Our Teams

Nexus has two main teams that serve our students; (i) Our English Teaching Team, (ii) Our Foreign Lanuges Teaching Team and (iii) Our Management Team, they are all well qualified, experienced teachers and staff. Our friendly teachers and staff truly care about our students and do their best to help them learn.

(i) Our English Teaching Team

Justin Moon
B.A., Dip Ed, Cert IV A&WPT, Cert IV TESOL

Justin was a high school English and drama teacher for three years and has since taught ESL for five years in Sydney and Melbourne. His interests include; dancing, drama and yoga.


Natalie JONES
B.A., Cert IV TESOL, Grad Dip Museum Studies

Natalie has been teaching ESL for 8 years. She has taught in Australia, The Czech Republic and Taiwan. Natalie has taught all levels and ages, from children to adults. Her interests include; writing, live comedy and playing the air guitar.


Andrea Vergara
M.A. (TESOL), B.A, Grad. Dip Adult Ed, Grad Dip TLOTE, Cert. IV A&WPT, CELTA, Cert. IV TESOL

Andrea has taught ESL for 8 years. She has spent many years studying language education and is a fluent Spanish speaker. Her hobbies include; cooking and studying.

(ii) Our Foreign Languges Teaching Team

Perry Zhang
Mandarin Teacher

Perry is a native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker from Shanghai. Before coming to Australia he was a teacher in the Chinese education system. Since coming to Australia he has worked as a translator for SBS Television and tutored in Chinese Studies at University level and is a private language coach for a number of Australia's senior executives who do business within China.

Jayne Powell
French Teacher

Known in the Australian business community as Champagne Jayne thanks to her fabulous work in Wine Edutainment through her consultancy Wine Works International; Jayne is a fantastic French coach. An English educated business professional, Jayne has used French on an international business level for many years and brings to the training room a solid understanding of French language and French culture for the "English thinking professional."

Felipe Mejia
Spanish Teacher

An English teacher from Colombia Felipe's native tongue is Spanish. He brings to the training environment a solid understanding of learning a foreign language with personal insight into Spanish and South American culture.

(iii) Our Management Team

Shane Warren
AIMM ANZIIF MACA MAICD MAIPC MIAA

Shane Warren is both a clinical counsellor and adult educator.  He is a registered analyst with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and a clinical member of the Australian Counselling Association.  He is also a highly respected trainer in counselling and communication skills with a number of industry specific training and coaching books accredited to his name.
