Looking After the People Who Carry the Load
For people working in emergency services, healthcare, defence, community support and other high-responsibility roles, trauma does not always announce itself when it happens. Its effects can emerge later. They may appear in sleep, relationships, patience, work performance, physical health, connection and a person’s changing sense of who they are. Repeated exposure, vicarious trauma, moral injury and accumulated stress can quietly build until something that once felt manageable no longer does.
Stronger Together: Mental Health and Wellbeing Conversations is a one-day conference focused on how people, workplaces and communities can respond earlier and more effectively.
