  1. Describe common types of special educational needs (SEN) and how they impact learning and wellbeing

  2. Spot early indicators of SEN and contribute to referral, observation, and assessment processes

  3. Create and monitor simple intervention plans with clear goals, adjustments, and progress checks

  4. Apply targeted strategies to support language and literacy challenges in everyday lessons

  5. Adapt instruction for mild, moderate, and more complex support needs across childhood to adolescence

Online self-paced through our education partners International Open Academy platform.

Self-paced so CPD hours are estimate pending partner course details and your professional association.


Assessment Options...

Optional knowledge checks + short reflection activity as part of the course content. We encourage that you also undertake the Live Online Nexus CPD Assessment Interview  which validates learning outcomes for the Australia / Asia-Pacific context and includes Nexus College Certificate of Attendance for various peak bodies recognition.
