Stroke Rehab Master Class: Best Practices for Rapid Functional Gains & Improved Outcomes

A practical, evidence-informed masterclass to sharpen your stroke rehab reasoning, upgrade your intervention toolkit, and drive real-world functional change (not just “clinic wins”).

Who is this workshop for...

  • Physiotherapists / Physical Therapists

  • Occupational Therapists

  • Speech Pathologists working in neuro rehab teams

  • Rehabilitation clinicians in acute, inpatient, outpatient, community and home-based settings

  • Allied health assistants / therapy aides (scope-aligned support)

  • Case managers / rehab coordinators wanting stronger neuro-rehab literacy (scope-aware)

What you’ll be able to do...

  1. Identify the root cause behind key impairments (physical + behavioural) so your plan targets what’s actually driving the stuck points.

  2. Map a comprehensive treatment plan using evidence-based strategies, outcome measures, and goal-setting/documentation that holds up across settings.

  3. Apply advanced gait + mobility training and complementary techniques (e.g., task-specific training, gait/balance work, motor strategies) to improve carryover.

  4. Use high-value neuro rehab tools appropriately (e.g., FES, NDT, PNF, CIMT, NMES/thermal/taping modalities—scope permitting) and integrate them into real practice.

  5. Re-engage “hard to shift” patients (low motivation, depressed/disengaged, “pusher” presentations) using practical motivational + neuroplasticity-backed approaches.

Format...

Online, self-paced digital training (video-based learning).

Time Investment + CPD hours...

Estimated learning time aligns with up to 20.25 CE hours included in the course tuition (AU CPD equivalence depends on your peak body).
