Learn to recognise, respond to, and safely de-escalate anger so conflict doesn’t hijack your wellbeing, workplace, or relationships.

What you’ll be able to do...

  • Explain the psychology and physiology of anger (what’s happening in the brain/body, and why it matters)

  • Identify the 7 stages of anger escalation and spot early warning cues in real time

  • Apply verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniques to reduce intensity and restore safety

  • Build a personalised anger-response plan (triggers, cues, scripts, boundaries, repair steps)

  • Run or participate in guided role-plays using structured feedback to strengthen confidence under pressure


Format...

In-person full-day, cohort-customised for a highly interactive, including:

  • Case studies + practical discussion

  • Role-play and reflective practice

  • Small-group coaching style skill-building

  • Peer feedback and collaborative learning


Time + CPD hours...

1 full day with approx. 6 CPD hours, estimate based on your professional body.


Assessment Options...

None certificate of completion provided. We encourage that you also undertake the Live Online Nexus CPD Assessment Interview  which validates learning outcomes for the Australia / Asia-Pacific context and includes Nexus College Certificate of Attendance for various peak bodies recognition.

Participants receive a certificate of completion and digital badge, plus workshop resources/manuals aligned to the cohort’s context.
